IE 7 crashesHi,
I just reinstalled xp on my friends dell laptop. All went well. I did all the updates sp3 etc. After installing IE7 and launching IE I would get a IE crash without errors. It would just close. I uninstalled IE 7 and the encountered no problems on the internet. I installed and uninstalled IE 7 two more times and had the same problem with the crashes. I used a registry cleaner and retried again the installation same problem. The installation goes fine without errors and reboots. Loads the OS fine but the internet crashes. I am now using IE6. I want to use IE 7 but keep having the crash issues. I am using a LAN and a wireless connection. One at a time of course. IE crashes both with the Lan and the wireless. Thanks, John Hi

Does this stand even if I did a format and reinstall and not just a repair of xp?
