How to find out if a WLAN client is able to use WPA2 ?Assume I have a WLAN Stick or a built-in WLAN in a Notebook.

Windows gets the Security information from the Wireless card's Drivers. If your version of Windows is WPA2 capable and the card supports WPA2 it should appear as an option when you choose the card's security. Please note that some Wireless Vendors' might use terms like WPA-AES. If you have a choice with AES that is the vendors rendition of WPA2.
