https broken?I have two clients running Windows XP, one home edition, the other Pro and
neither can access any sites requiring secure logon (like Yahoo mail). They get page not found 404 error. I have tried the steps in KB article 870700 to no avail. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a fix or workaround? Thanks In article <869347DF-0FE7-486C-9675-0D7AB2D67***@microsoft.com>,

If that works, but booting in normal mode doesn't, the problem is caused by a startup program. In my experience, the most likely culprit is McAfee Personal Firewall. -- Best Wishes, Steve Winograd, MS-MVP (Windows Networking) Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group for everyone to see. I'm sorry, but I don't answer questions addressed directly to me in E-mail or news groups.
