To access folders through  internet using your browser you must configure
iis web server to support of ftp or WebDAV (Web Folders), unfortunately IIS
on Windows XP doesnt support WebDAV, so you should use ftp or other web
serber

I think the OP is referring to Remote Desktop. Alex, look here:

http://labmice.techtarget.com/windowsxp/NetworkingXP/remote_desktop.htm

There are also third-party solutions such as the free UltraVNC and the
pay-for Symantec pcAnywhere:

http://ultravnc.sourceforge.net/
http://www.symantec.com/home_homeoffice/products/remote_pc_fax/pca115/

Based on Alex's post, if he needs this functionality he may want to have
a professional computer person set him up and show him how to do what
he wants.
