no network after mb replacementThe old mb died, installed a new one. reinstalled xp pro. got everything to
work except the network. I tried both ethernet card and wirless. I tried going to my wireless router and straight to the cable modem. The trouble shooter says both cards are working. the ethernet is part of the mb so i can't take it out and in, but i did uninstall and re install the wireless but to no avail. When i try to use the Wireless network wizard in Control Panel I get this popup: Error in wzcdlg.dll Missing Entry: FlashConfigCreateNetwork I could really use some help. thanks, mike Chances are the cards are in PCI slots with differing numbers. Reinstalling
the drivers for the cards should fix this. Go into Control Panel > System > Hardware > Devce Manager and find the relevant devices. Right -click the device and select "update driver" - or else just delete it and then reboot, it shoud self-reinstall. Make a note of any TCP/IP settings beforehand as you will lose them. The other possibility is that the mobo drivers themselves need correcting (particularly the PCI bridge) - Have you run the driver-setup for the new mobo?
