Linking laptop to home PCGot a PC running XP and linked to the net via broadband. Want to link my dell
latitude laptop to it to share files. Got a cross-over cable and plugged it in. Ran network set-up wizard on the PC. Went to run it on the laptop and it said it belongs to a domain and can't do it. I use it for freelance writing and it's been added to a domain that I work at regularly in house. All I want to do is link the two computers. Anyone any ideas. BTW try not toget too heavy on the IT. It took me ten minutes to work out how to type in a question on this site. TAPS. Cheers JD
