A user of my computer dawnloaded limeware and azureus. I have 4 services
listed related to peer networks that i am unfamiliar with and I would like to
know whether they are likely to be related to the intallation of this
software, or whether they could innocently be related to my home network
(workgroup setup). The services are: peer name resolution, peer networking,
peer networking group identification, and peer networking identity manager.
These services are password protected, unlike my other services, and the
"stop" option is grayed out in properties. I am the administrator. I don't
remember putting a password on the home network and these services are not
listed on my laptop, which is a part of my home network. If they are
associated with the software, I would like to delete them, but I don't know
how. Can anyone help?

Uninstall Limewire and Azureus using Add/Remove Programs and then scan
your computer for viruses and malware.

I have already uninstalled limeware and scanned the computer, but the
services and two registry entries are still there. I was planning to keep the
registry entries until the user who installed the  software returns from
vacation so i can ask him about what the heck he was doing after i told him
not to install anything without my permission. perhaps if i delete the
registry limeware folder it would solve the problem?

Change the "user's" account to a "limited" type account.  They will not be
able to install most software.
