Local Area Connection Status Window

I was looking at Local area connection status window of my internet
connection and noticed a picture of a "little" lock(i.e. like a paddle lock)
on the received side of the ICON.  Can anyone tell what this means? or how
can I change it?  My other PC connected to the same router does not have this
lock picture on the ICON.

The lock in the upper-right hand corner of the icon means that Windows
Firewall is enabled. You can change it by enabling or disabling Windows
Firewall in the connection's settings window.
