Need help with network ICS

I'm trying to share the net connection with my xbox. The modem connects to
the PC via USB. Then the xbox is hooked on to the NIC. I already have it set
up so I can FTP back and forth. The problem is when the xbox is turned on I
can't access the internet on the PC. I went to (Network connections) and seen
this:

Internet Gateway:
L.A.C. on Linix IGD (this connection disables and reconnects when you power
off the xbox)

LAN or High Speed:
L.A.C (this is the xbox connection)

&

L.A.C #4 Actiontec Gateway #2 (this is the modem connection)

When I try to go into the Actiontec and check the box for ICS I get an
message saying it will us IP 192.168.0.1 then anerror message saying:

ICS can not be enabled. A LAN connection is already configured with the IP
address that is required for automatic IP adressing.

The xbox LAN is set to 192.168.2.1 I tried setting it to (obtain
automatically) but got the same error message.

I'm lost now I would like to get this working instead of buying a router. I
have dsl with sprint if that helps any.

I did a inconfig and this is what i got:

Ethernet adapter local area connection:

Connection-specific DNS suffix:
IP address..................192.168.2.1
subnet mask................255.255.255.0
default gateway...........192.168.2.1

Ethernet adapter local area connection 4:

Connection-specific DNS suffix :domain.actdsltmp
IP address..................192.168.0.2
Subnet mask..............255.255.255.0
Default gateway..........192.168.0.1

Try:

1.  Make sure that you have not inadvertently enabled ICS on the LAN
connection.

2.  The LAN/xbox network cannot be 192.168.2.x.  It must be 192.168.0.x and
the LAN adapter in the ICS computer must be 192.168.0.1 - you can set this
manually or set to obtain an address automatically.  Also the LAN adapter
should not have a default gateway or DNS entry.

Seen those before but like I said the problem is I can't even enable ICS
because I get a error message saying the IP address 192.168.0.1 is already
used. but I set both LAN connection to get there IPs automatically. Still

The problem is that local area connection 4 is getting a 192.168.0.x
address.  I had thought that this was because you had inadvertently enabled
ICS on the local area connection for the 192.168.2.1 adapter.  Evidently,
this is not the case - So, either the 'modem' is actually a router which
provides this address, or you are connected to a Linux NAT device (L.A.C. on
Linix IGD?) which provides this address.  In order to make this
configuration work, you must at the very least change the subnet for local
area connection 4 to something other than 192.168.0.x.  Most likely this
should be done on whatever presently resides at 192.168.0.1.
