Hi,
I have a Netgear WG511T installed. Checked the device manager its ok.
However,the  two associated icon at the always have a red X on it. The
product comes with a smart wizard-wireless assistant. Its initial display on
the settings tab are as follows: Profile = default, Network name(SSID) =
Any(First available network) the drop down menu is totally blank, Network
Type =Access Point(infrastructure), Security = Disabled. I also have a
Netgear router installed with it. I followed the step by step proceedure of
router configuration many times already, but always with the same result:
cannot establish a DSL connection. When I connect my DSL directly to my
laptop I have internet connectivity, but when I connect it to the router from
the router to my laptop, I don't get any Internet connection at all. My
operating system is Windows Xp home edition. Can anyone please help me out
there. It seems that reading all the set up manual of both the wireless card
and the router does me no progress. Please help me out. Thanks.
