wireless conection intermitantly keeps dropping

i am running windows home edition and xp2 and my wireless server is orange
was fomaly wanadoo,i start pc wait for conection and then intermitantly the
conection drops and pc just starts up again,have configured my frequency
settings several times but still have the problem,i have now been told it
might be a problem with my USB drivers.

Most of the time that happens when there is no stuffed or misconfigured
hardware, it is just the firewall interfering. Which firewall do you use?
