Getting Windows 2000 PC on network for file sharingHave been able to gain access to two XP PCs that are all connected
wirelessly to a router that in turn is connected to cable internet. Can see the Windows 2K PC from the XP machine, but getting \\Server_name is not accessible msg. I have shared the entire c: drive and stopped the firewall and still get the same msg. Any ideas? Swan Swan wrote:

Any ideas? > are Pro, disable Simple Sharing (Folder Options>View) and create identical user accounts/passwords on all three machines. If they are Home, you can't disable Simple Sharing (which is really Guest), but you should still create the identical user accounts/passwords on the Win2k box. Malke
