Wireless ConnectionI set up a belkin wireless router in family room- seems to working ok-

Alternatively, if you have a laptop that can successfully connect to the wireless router, take that to the kids' room and see if it can connect from there. Log in to your modem and check that the wireless option is turned on. My
modem was connected to my PC via ethernet, but the laptop was wireless and would not connect. wireless option default off.....
