networking between Win2K and WinXp via Syslink (LAN)Can any one provide detailed steps for both Win2k and WinXP to see each
other's share folder via my LAN (Syslink)? Note the configuration is as follows: IBM (Win2000) and Dell (WinXP) both connected to LAN, when the LAN then connects to SBC DSL modem. I have tried the networking help (wizard) on both Laptop without any success.... One thing strange I noticed is that before I turn the LAN on, I have the choices of LAN and wireless in XP's Networking wizard. After LAN becomes on, the choice of LAN disappears. How can I set up LAN as my networking device if it no longer available? Thanks in advance. Dennis Hi
