I received a new laptop a few weeks ago and havent had time to check the
wireless. I brought it over to my moms which is wired and wireless. My mom as
can connect with her laptop and my brother is able to connect with his PSP.
The router is a D-Link DI-614+ wireless router. The card installed is a
Broadcom 802.11b/g. I have tried uninstalling the drivers and updating but
that as well hasnt worked. There is a wireless connection button on the
laptop and when i push nothing happens. It has a little light on it and it
also never lights up. The notebook is a HP Compaq nx6110. IF ANYONE MIGHT
KNOW HOW TO HELP!!! I would greatly greatly appreciate it.

Thank You for all you time,
Robbie

Grab the laptop's user manual and check about that
"wireless connection button". Must it be pressed or released?
Leave it in the correct position.

some models of these Compaq's came with the button, but no wireless
hardware, does the manual mention wireless anywhere?
