lucus
i have two laptops both using wirelss internet. but the second laptop now
wont connect to the internet saying "aquiring i.p. address". it will never
aquire address. it keeps trying to aquire. anybody know the problem??

Try static ip addresses.

1.  Wrong/omitted encryption key
2.  Attempting to connect to the wrong network (Right-click the wireless
network icon in the lower-right corner of your screen, and then click
View Available Wireless Networks; then select yours and click Connect).
3.  bad hardware

Is the one that won't connect an IBM and/or Lenovo Laptop that you recently
updated with their latest drivers / system software?

Ralf -- is there a problem with a recent IBM/Lenovo driver?  Got a link?
