Hi,

I have 3 XP systems on a network.  My already mapped network drives are able
to access the network shares on other systems and also synchronise the
offline files.  But I am unable to browse the network in Network Places
under Microsoft Windows Network.  The workgroup name show but when I click
on that, the response after many secs is "workgroup is not accessible. You
might not have permission to use this network resource"  And I use Admin
user.

I suspect there may be some service which may not be running on the system.
But i dont want to mess around with that.  Any clues on that please?

thanks
ramesh

Hi
Successful Sharing involves some general consideration in Network settings,
http://www.ezlan.net/sharing.html
As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what is allowed
to be shared.
