stop "wireless connected" notification?Every time I boot up or restore from hibernation the Wireless Network
Connection in my taskbar sends me a balloon message that tells me the Wireless connection is now connected. I want the icon to remain on the taskbar but want to stop the balloon notifications. Is there a way to stop them? Jeff No.

Right click over the wireless assistant in your taskbar click "open your wireless assistant" click "properties" check the box for "disable initial status balloon" Dana Show quoteHide quote "S. to suppress balloons in Windows built-in client - by removing the connection indicator from the system tray; that is done in the connection properties ("Show icon in notification area when connected"). However, without that, usability suffers greatly. -- Show quoteHide quoteSvyatoslav Pidgorny, MS MVP - Security, MCSE -= F1 is the key =- "spunkycowgirl" <spunkycowg***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:5C7359EC-C51F-450F-A0A9-962F7B3A9ADA@microsoft.com... > On my HP laptop I was able to get rid of those balloons. > > Right click over the wireless assistant in your taskbar > click "open your wireless assistant" > click "properties" > check the box for "disable initial status balloon" > > > Dana > > > "S.
