Just Smart Enough to get into Trouble
I am trying to add a new computer to my home wireless network, set up with
128 encryption-- the network is established.  when I go into the network
connections box, the WEP key boxes are already filled in with some short key
-- I replace that and retype the replacement and hit connect, but it won't
connect -- and every time I go back into that window the old, short key is
there (I assume -- it is displayed in dots).  I think somehow when I type in
the key it isn't 'taking.'  Any suggestions?

The best thing to do is remove all encyrption to make sure you can connect
then add WPA, and forget WEP becasue of its security flaws.
