is it possible to get a wireless adaptor to plug in my adsl router to enable
me to use it as a wireless router my router has a usb port

No it is not.  That port is for making a wired USB connection to a desktop or
laptop.

Hi
I never did it but in theory you can plug a Game Box type USB card to the
ADSL Router's USB output, and it would be to communicate Ad Hoc to an other
Wireless computer that is configured to Ad-Hoc communication.
