I would like to log the wireless packets exchanged so I can see exactly why
I sometimes fail to connect to my wireless access point.  I am running
Windows XP with a D-Link PCI wireless card.  Is there some way to do this?
Is this this negotiation handled by the card, the driver, or the OS?

Install on the Wireless computer Ethereal and get the packets.

The linked article does not cover Windows installation--just Unix.  Is there
a description of how to install it on Windows?

Thanks

Maybe, looking at the raw wireless packets won't help you much.
Do you use Windows or some other software to connect?
Do you see this AP in the scan list? How exactly it fails to connect?
