Power problems with linksys usb54G v.4I have been using the Linksys usb54G v.4 adapter for almost a year and
suddenly it doesn't seem to be getting power from the usb ports. I tried all 4 ports (2 on back and 2 on front) and the power light on the adapter flashes and then goes off. Occassionally it will stay on for a while and then go off before connecting to the network. About a week ago I uninstalled the software and reinstalled and it worked fine for a week. Now the power won't come on again. Any ideas? Hi
The latest drivers of this card are from 5/03/2005, and there is No firmware upgrades. Assuming that you are using the latest drivers, and the connetion cable is OK. Further assuming that other USB2 devices can work on these ports (i.e. it is not the computer fault). It might be time for a new Wireless. Jack (MVP-Networking).
