Slow downloadsI have two PC's running XP on one and home on the other. Both PC's have NAV and Norton Internet security installed. My internet connection goes from the Modem to a Belkin Wireless G Router, the two PC's are connected via Wireless G USB Network adapters, the PC's are also Networked to each other through the Router. Internet Downloads on the XP machine are at an excellent speed, over 100 Kb depending on the download site, Downloads on the Home Machine start at around 6 Kb then slowly die to nothing. Speed of file transfer between the two PC's is excellent. There is obviously something wrong but I cannot see what it is, running the Windows Network diagnosis does not work because I have Belkin software installed. Hopefully some clever people out there can help. thanks Hi
Might be that you need to optimize the TCP/IP Stack, http://www.ezlan.net/Internet_Speed.html Jack (MVP-Networking).
