Can't find server -IEHowdy!
I hope this isn't a silly question. I just now installed a network on this computer. I have a D-Link wireless router connected to the NIC and a DSL modem connected to the router. Everything on this machine works as advertised. I need to be able to access the internet from a second computer, so I set up the network on it. It connects automatically through a D-Link G122 wireless USB adapter. I've checked to be sure the second computer is in fact showing "connected" and the right network name. When I start IE, it says "Cannot find server." What do I do now? Any and all answers to this vague question will be greatly appreciated! You might try doing this;

I found the remnants of an aborted attempted to set up a wireless ad hoc network with a specific IP. I changed that to automatic detection and now everything is cool.
