problem getting wireless card working

I've got an Advent 7104 laptop, running XP SP2, and have purchased a
wireless card to connect to my Orange Livebox.
After completing the installation processes, the wireless icon in my
system tray says it's connected to the Livebox, but I cannot connect to
the internet wirelessly.
One of the help topics I've read
(http://www.usc.edu/its/wireless/winxpsp2.html) directs me to the
Network connections window in control panel and then to the Wireless
Networks tab - I don't have a Wireless Networks tab!
Am I missing something obvious?
How do I get the wireless connection working properly.

Your wireless is not 802.11, it is a cellular modem.
So there is no "wireless LAN tab" and everything else
related to 802.11 wireless LAN doesn't apply to you.

Follow instructions from your service provider?

It was something simple, although not obvious:  After installation of
both the isp hardware (in this case, Orange Livebox) and the PCMCIA
card, you get an icon in the system tray.
Right click this and select "Miscrosoft Media", which then allows you
to connect to the livebox wirelessly.
