New Notebook - Wireless Connection Not WorkingJust received a new Acer Ferrari 1000 laptop. Trying to get it establish a
connection to my Belkin Wireless G Plus MIMO Router network. The wireless network works fine for my tower PC and Dell laptop. The Ferrari is able to detect the network with no problem, but when you try to connect it shows "waiting for the network" and then just gives up. If I cable the Ferrari to the router, the internet connection comes up with no problem. Hi
Hopefully the DHCP server in the Router has free IPs, and the Wireless security settings the Acer matches the security setting of the Router. Make also sure that there is No software Firewall blocking the connection. May be this can further Help.
