Wireless Problems with T1Here is the situation. I am working on setting up a network for local
business. They need to have two networks setup, one for General Wi-Fi for there restaurant patrons, and a second networ k so there point of sale systems can connect to the Micros ( a hospitality system) They have a T1 connection, and the point of sale computers are currnetly connected to the Micros Server using ethernet, even though the Micros server is connected using dial-up. What I was planning on doing what hooking a Wireless Router to the T1, then putting a wireless access point in the room where the micros server is, and just t connecting that to the Hub, which currently feeds ethernet to the point of sale computers. Is this the best way to go about it? You might find that this page helps; http://ezlan.net/shield.html the
general Wi-Fi would be the one deemed dangerous. -- Show quoteHide quoteDavid Hettel Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group for everyone to see.
