Please help. Just moved to New Zealand from UK. Setting up wireless broadband
for 1st time. Connects using cable and connects when wireless modem is set to
unsecure. But when WEP or WPA is selected for security I get a message on the
Wireless network control panel saying 'Limited or no connectivity' and will
not connect. Internet provider say that network card is not set up to use WEP
or WPA. I am using a nearly new Sony Vaio and they tell me that all should
work fine. If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated.

Yes, this is a symptom that your netcard is not actually set to
the secure mode, or the password/key is wrong.
Please make very sure what mode do you need (WPA or WEP),
and what is the key.

Try converting your WEP password to a hex key, and entering the hex value.
