Wireless and dial up connectioncountry (other than satillite which doesn't really suit my needs) so I have a small net work at home just to share printers and files etc. Network is two desktops each with their own dialup internet connection and a laptop. At present I use hardwired network between the three and internet connection sharing to allow the laptop to connect to the internet when the laptop is at home but would like to be able to connect the laptop wirelessly so I can use it anywhere in the house and outside. My question is what is the best way to do this? I have available a Netgear Rangemax Wireless Router (WPN824) that I could use or I could buy a PCI Wireless network card or USB Wireless network adapter and use an AD HOC network setup. I have been told by various people (including the phone tech support at NetGear) that the router will not work with internet connection sharing. I have tried to set it up myself but I don't know much about networkd and could not get it working. I kept getting IP conflict errors. Other knowledgeable people have told me that they have done it and that it will work. I have not been able to find out much about AD HOC wireless networks so I am not sure if it will do what I want it to. Any information would be helpfull Hi
