Very happy using adhoc mode with three computers.
Would be nice though if someone could write a utility to disable wirless
netwok connection, based on time of day.

Depending on the router you can set a rule on when there is access to the
Internet. I have a Linksys and have it block traffic when I am at work during
the week. Go your routers home page and you should be able to change it from
there. Hope this helps.
