deactivate wireless connection when LAN connection?

Have a problem on a customer site with a lot of Centrino Notebooks: Have
configured WLL over GPO's (WPA with certificates). There is only the driver
for the Wireless Card installed, no additional Software. The customer uses
DNS reverse resolution for remote support and host printing.

The problem is that when these notebooks are connected to the LAN over the
onboard Ethernet NIC, the WLL connection is active as well and the notebooks
have two active NIC's with two IP addresses as well, and problems with DNS
reverse lookup arise.

Does anyone knows a tool or a script that can automatically deactivate the
wireless connection when a wired Ethernet connection is established?

Thank you all in advance for any feedback!
Franz

The new Lenovo "Access Connections" software has this feature.
It can automatically turn wi-fi off when a LAN connection is detected.
Not sure it will run on non-Lenovo PCs though.
