Hi,

After formatting my hard drive, I seem to have lost the icon for "wireless
internet
connection " in the Network connections section (of the control panel).
I have an HP laptop with a built in wireless connection and had a home
wireless
network set up for the past 1 year. I just formatted my hard drive today and
now
I am not able to see this icon and so am not able to connect wirelessly to
the router.

Please help..Thanks,

Bharath

If you can't see the icon at all in "Network Connections" (not only is
says that it's disabled), then most probably the device driver of your
wireless is not installed, you should install it from the drivers CD
which comes with the laptop.
Open control panel>system>hardware>device manager, and see if in the
list there is an item with a yellow? mark next to it
