Limited or no connectivityHi
I have installed a wireless network for a friend (one laptop & one router). We have not managed this and keep on getting an err message Limited or no connectivity. You might not be be able to access the internet. The problem occurred because the network did not assign a network address. I have look at the details and there is an assigned IP address but the DNS field and another one are blank. Thanks Brian This might happen also because the router is not getting an IP from the
ISP, so you must check if the router is configured correctly as your ISP requests. First check in the router's html interface, there should be a page for the WAN status, if the ISP is assigning an IP to the router itself On Dec 26, 10:32 am, "brian.bake***@googlemail.com" <brian.bake***@googlemail.com> wrote: Show quoteHide quote > Hi > > I have installed a wireless network for a friend (one laptop & one > router). > > We have not managed this and keep on getting an err message Limited or > no connectivity. > > You might not be be able to access the internet. security is not setup the same way on both devices. If you've enabled security and are using a password, recheck that you've entered it correctly on both devices. You may need to enter the password as a "Hex" value in the notebook.
