NetworkingI recently created a wireless network. I have DSL and I have my modem set up
for wireless. My problem is I've tried to create a network following the wizard and can't seem to connect and view/share files on the two computers. A J You may find these pages helpful, also it would be helpful to list any error

I am able to connect to the internet with both my PC and my laptop but cannot file and print share. I've tried the troubleshooting from the websites you posted and it doesn't solve the problem. From my PC I can see my laptop but when I try to access it I get the error "not accessible. You may not have permission to use this network resourse. Contact the administrator." When I try to access the PC from the laptop I cannot see the PC at all. I am using my DSL router for my wireless connection. v/r A J Show quoteHide quote "David Hettel" wrote: > You may find these pages helpful, also it would be helpful to list any error > messages you maybe getting. > > My New Wireless does not work - http://www.ezlan.net/wireless.html > Wireless, Basic Configuration - http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Config.html > Wireless Security - http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Security.html > > There is also an excellent network troubleshooter by MVP Hans-Georg Michna. > Take the time to go through it and it will usually pinpoint the problem > area(s) - http://winhlp.com/wxnet.htm > > http://www.ezlan.net/clean#refreshnet > > -- > David Hettel > > Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group for everyone > to see.
