Security Enabled Network KeyHello. I wnat to access my own wireless network using my daughter's new
laptop, but I don't know my own network key. I actually don't think I would mind changing my network to unsecure so that my sister can also access our signal when she visits with her laptop. How do I identify my network key, or how do I change to unsecured? How you do this is product specific. If you do not have a manual for your
router, you can probably download one from the manufacturer's web site. Generally you access your router settings by: http://<IPaddressofRouter>. However, you will probably need to know the administrative user name and password - see your manual. Without knowing your wireless router model number we can not tell you exactly where it is. Generally this page can be reach by pointing Internet Explorer to your Default Gateway IP address. -- Show quoteHide quoteDavid Hettel Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group for everyone to see.
