Wireless won't connect?I have always used wireless with my laptop until I took it to work and
plugged in an ethernet cable into it. Now I am unable to connect to ANY wireless connection. Does anyone have any ideas? You may have to do a restart but you should not have to. Hi
It might be that your work configuration disabled the Wireless. Log to Control Panel/Network Connection, Right Click on the Wireless connection and make sure that it is Enable. http://www.ezlan.net/example/nets.jpg Use this page instructions to configure your system to prefer Wire only if it is connected to a Wire. http://www.ezlan.net/metrics.html Jack (MS, MVP-Networking) Show quoteHide quote "Terra" <Te***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:4C58D6FF-6868-469E-9FA6-D1E59DC315F4@microsoft.com... >I have always used wireless with my laptop until I took it to work and > plugged in an ethernet cable into it.
