Drop, connect...repeatIs there a log file somewhere that will tell me why my XP laptop is dropping
its connection? -- Thanks Hi
If you are talking Wireless there is No log that would tell why. If the signal is lost the Computer can not know why it is lost. However if you describe better what is your Wireless source and how the connection is configured could be that someone can find an explanation. In my experience the two most common solutions to repeated loss of connection are: 1. updating the drivers for your wireless network card to the manufacturer's latest - go to the manufacturer's website and check there for updated drivers. 2. changing the channel used - interference from other sources seems to affect some channels more than others. Hope this helps.
