trouble with IPCONFIG...showw wireless but not wiredI have a company PC that is behaving very strangely. It is XP-SP2.
When I am not connected to the internet via an ethernet cable, IPCONFIG does not show my "Ethernet Adapter Local Area Connection connection". I need the ethernet card's physical address to run software. The license is tied to the physical address of the ethernet card. I have heard of this problem in LINUX but not with windows. Is there anyway to "turn on" the ethernet card so that it shows up in IPCONFIG? thanks! Hi
