"Acquiring network address msg constantly goes on and on!!

i am unable to Disable my wireless Network adopter! I tried already the
procedure in Article no 871122 of MSN  knowledgebase,.this has not helped me.
  'Available  Wireless networks' cannot be seen and a msg 'Windows cannot
configure the connection" msg appears
Pl help me to lo solve the problem
My laptop is using Intel Wireless adopter using 802.11b/g

You might have to uninstall or at least kill the running processes of
any third party wireless configuration software before starting the
wireless zero configuration service.
