I have two laptops, each connected happily to the Internet via a wireless
router. I would like to set up file sharing. One is running XP, the other is
running Vista.

I would really appreciate some help and advice in working out whether I
should start with the XP machine or the Vista one to make this happen - I'm
going round in circles using Help. If there's an (idiot-proof) guide
somewhere, that would be great. I'm using McAfee firewall on them both.

Many thanks.

Many thanks. This looks exactly like what I need. Now I just to have to wait
for the other laptop to return from its travels for the day.
