WPA-PSK compatibilityWindows XP Prof SP3 and Vista
I had an wireless connection without any security between the above computers. When I set the router and the Win XP computer to WPA-PSK security. Vista computer does not have WPA-PSK has the following WPA-Personal. I would like to know if they are compatiple with each other. Do I need any update to my XP or Vista Tatar wrote:

If you use WPA and are offered the choice between TKIP and AES, choose AES if all of your equipment (router and both computers) support that option. -- Lem -- MS-MVP To the moon and back with 2K words of RAM and 36K words of ROM. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_Guidance_Computer http://history.nasa.gov/afj/compessay.htm |
