I have a laptop that chashed a couple a weeks ago. I had to restore it with
the disk that came with it. Since then I have not been able to connect to the
internet using my wireless card. All the hep topics in windows tells me how
to configure the settng and i do understand them. The problom is when i gou
in to veiw all my network i only have on loaded which is my local one. Since
my comp crashed i lost my icon for wierless networking.

Most modern laptops have a button or switch that you must turn on to get
the wireless signal. Is your laptop's button on? Refer to your user
manual for details.

Since we don't know what you mean by "crashed", there is no way to give
you more specific help. If you can't articulate what the problems were,
then take the machine to a good local professional for diagnosis and
hands-on help.
