No IP during battery use.Config :
Asus Laptop with Centrino b/g processor. AP : Belkin 7230/4 Win XP with SP2 No problem with the connection when my AC current is plugged in. But when I go to battery the laptop is not getting an IP. Am I missing something ? I have a Fujitsu as well with a Pent.4 processor and an external Wireless card, and this works both on AC as on battery. Stef Is the Wireless NIC in the laptop configured to power off when on battery?
Check Device Manager... Does the laptop have a custom Power Management program. You may need to check that too. - Tim Show quoteHide quote "S t e f" <stefaan.dbnospam@vt4.net> wrote in message news:Xns965F5DE882086stefaandbnospamvt4ne@195.130.132.70... > Config : > Asus Laptop with Centrino b/g processor. > AP : Belkin 7230/4 > Win XP with SP2 > > No problem with the connection when my AC current is plugged in.
